What Should be in Your Manicure Pedicure Tool Kit?
In this modern world every women have the necessity to posess her own manicure pedicure tool kit.Although you get your nails brushed in beauty salon, you still might require a kit of your own. After all, you never know when you might get a break or snag. Or, you might decide to do your own manicures and pedicures. Either way, one of these kits is an extremely handy thing to have. But what should be in your kit? Should you buy one already put together or make your own? While the ready-made kits are great for travel, it's best to make your own home kit to ensure it's perfectly suited to your needs.
A pretty basket or bucket is the perfect place to store your mani-pedi gear. You'll need nail polish remover, an emery board for filing, a buffer for smoothing the surface of the nails, moisturizer for the hands and cuticles, an orangewood stick for pushing back the cuticles, and plenty of cotton. You'll also need nail polish, of course! There are plenty of colors and brands on the market these days. Most women who enjoy painting their nails have a variety of colors from conservative to trendy.
There are all kinds of fun extras you can add to your kit. Try luxurious scented lotions and oils or a paraffin bath for hands and feet. Many women enjoy making an event of their mani-pedis and inviting friends over for a group session. If you try this, make sure you've got something great to drink like champagne or non-alcoholic sparkling cider. And don't forget the chocolate! You might not be able to eat while your fingernails are dry but once they are, chocolate is a great thing to have. Manicuring in a group is a fun bonding experience for girls and women of all ages.
When putting together your manicure pedicure tool kit, try shopping at beauty supply stores like Sally Beauty Supply or online. The more selection you have available to you, the better. The most fun part of shopping for nail supplies is buying nail polish. The rainbow of shades and fast-dry formulas make buying polish even better than ever before. Prices for polish these days range from under $1 for some drugstore brands to $18 for names like Chanel. One of the most popular brands, OPI, costs around $7 per bottle.
